Hey Jessica, I just tried making macaroons and man do I suck at it! Btw, I found almond flour, not sure if it’s any cheaper than buying almonds and grinding them yourself, but they sell it at Buon Italiano (inside Chelsea market). They also have chestnut flour there too.

Macarons are not French originally. They were first made in Venice, Italy.
