    Great looking recipe. I was was wondering if the poppy seeds should be ground? I’ve only ever worked with them ground (in a spice/coffee grinder) before. Is it very crunchy if you don’t grind them? Any downside to leaving them whole?
    Just wondering since I plan to make this very soon!

    I think ground black sesame seeds would also work in replacement of the poppy seeds
